STUDY ABROAD 101: THE BASICS
Our Study Abroad 101: The Basics session provides a comprehensive overview of all the study abroad possibilities available to you. Intended for those who are just at the beginning stages of study abroad planning, we'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.

Many of our affiliated partners will offer in-person or virtual sessions about their programs throughout the semester. We’ll be adding more sessions as the semester gets going – check back here to see the list as it evolves. Keep in mind that not all programs offered by each affiliated organization are affiliated with IC! You can email studyabroad@ithaca.edu to confirm the status of any program that interests you.

- IC's affiliated study abroad partners, offering programs in countries across the globe.
- Information about our direct-enrollment exchange programs with international universities.
- Winter/summer study abroad courses offered by IC faculty & staff.
- Academic and financial planning resources.
