As her Co-Leader in the BIPOC Unity Center, I am thrilled to share that Shadayvia Wallace, Associate Director of the BIPOC Unity Center and Program Director for M.L.K. Scholars & First Generation Programs here at Ithaca College, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 G.O.L.D. (Graduate Of the Last Decade) Award by her alma mater, Keuka College!
Shadayvia shared:
"On July 10, I was notified that I would be bestowed the honor of Keuka College's 2024 GOLD - Graduate Of the Last Decade Award. I am extremely humbled by this honor and excited to celebrate at this year's Green and Gold Weekend! Thank you to the Keuka College Alumni Association Recognition Committee for this honor!"
The Keuka College Alumni Association Recognition Committee selected Shadayvia after being impressed with the depth and breadth of her experiences and her clear love for her alma mater. She was celebrated during Keuka College's Green & Gold Celebration Weekend on September 28th, 2024.
This recognition is a testament to Shadayvia's dedication, innovation, and leadership, which have made a profound impact both here at Ithaca College and in the Keuka College community. Her commitment to student success and fostering an inclusive campus environment embodies GOLD.
