As we approach our spring advising period, the Office of Extended Studies wants to remind you about Ithaca College’s Reserve Officer Training Corporation (ROTC) process, in addition to our IC-CU Exchange Program process.

ROTC Process

Students, make sure to work with the Office of Extended Studies (oes@ithaca.edu) if you plan on enrolling in ROTC for 2025. You must obtain Ithaca College permission before starting any work with Cornell University, whom we partner with on our ROTC program. Permission starts with Ithaca College’s Office of Extended Studies (http://ithaca.edu/oes).

IC-CU Exchange Process

If you are a second-year IC student, or further along in your studies at IC, you can participate in our Ithaca College-Cornell University Exchange program. If IC doesn’t have a course that you need and Cornell does, you can work with the Office of Extended Studies to get setup to take a spring course at Cornell. Please keep in mind the travel time it will take for you to get from the IC campus to the Cornell campus when working out your schedules.
