Students, remind your families to submit the RSVP form by Monday, October 21 if they plan to attend Family Weekend!

Family Weekend 2024

The Office of New Student & Transition Programs is excited to announce that registration is open for our much-anticipated Ithaca College Family Weekend! Mark your calendars for our annual celebration from Friday, November 1, to Sunday, November 3. This is the perfect opportunity to experience a fun weekend on campus and make lasting memories.

Family Weekend is an opportunity to recognize our families for the role they play within the IC community. Some of the events you can expect during Family Weekend include: live performances from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance; varsity athletic events; art exhibits; local hikes and tours; and so much more! We invite you to explore the Family Weekend website to view more information as we continue to plan this event.

If families are planning to join us for Family Weekend, we ask that they complete the registration form linked below by Monday, October 21. Students, please be sure to have your family members complete the RSVP instead of filling it out yourselves. We hope to see you there! RSVP for Family Weekend 2024

Support the IC Food Pantry and the Student Emergency Relief Fund during Family Weekend!

For the third consecutive year, Family Weekend also coincides with an opportunity to directly give back to our IC students. Last year, thanks to the leadership of the Ithaca College Family Council and the generous support of our IC families, we set a record with more than $10,000 in monetary donations and over 700 phyiscal products collected to support Prunty's Pantry, Ithaca College's on-campus food pantry located on the first floor of the Campus Center. This year, we will once-again be collecting donations of physical items for the food pantry, and monetary donations to support the Student Emergency Relief Fund (SERF).

The pantry supports members of our IC community experiencing food insecurity by providing free access to food and drink products, household supplies, and personal care items. Please visit this page for more information on the types of products that can be donated.

The Student Emergency Relief Fund is a program through which students can apply for financial assistant of up to $500 per semester to help offset the burden caused by unanticipated and unforeseen expenses. Typical uses for SERF funding include support for: emergency travel; medical expenses; housing, food, and utilities costs.

We hope to raise the bar even higher in 2024!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact New Student and Transition Programs at families@ithaca.edu or 607-274-1908. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
