As flu season approaches, it’s time to protect yourself—and those around you—by getting a flu shot here right on campus.

Tomorrow, October 15th from 8:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Ithaca College will be holding our annual Point of Dispensing (POD) for students, faculty, and staff to receive a flu vaccination. Reserve your flu shot by registering for a time slot today. Registration stations will also be available if you choose to walk-in during the event. Please note that you will need to provide your health insurance card to register.

During this event, all supervisors are encouraged to support faculty and staff participation.

Participants should plan their apparel appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm. Students, faculty, and staff enrolled in an IC-sponsored health insurance plan through Aetna receive full coverage for flu shots administered at this event. Campus community members who are not covered under an IC-sponsored health insurance plan through Aetna are encouraged to check with their insurance provider for more information. Although annual flu shots are typically fully covered by most health insurance plans, individuals are encouraged to confirm coverage with their provider prior to booking an appointment to avoid any unforeseen fees.
