Professor Cyndy Scheibe receives national award for service and practice in advancing media literacy education

Congratulations to our colleague Cyndy Scheibe for Receiving the Elizabeth Thoman Service Award from the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE)!!

We are very thrilled to announce that our colleague, Professor Cyndy Scheibe, has received the prestigious Elizabeth Thoman Service Award from the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE). This award honors individuals who have dedicated years of impactful service and practice in advancing media literacy education.

This year, NAMLE celebrates and honors Cyndy,  who have made a profound difference in the media literacy community. Cyndy is a founding board member of NAMLE, and she has contributed to the development of media literacy education through keynotes, presentations, and the creation of an online course for K-12 librarian, to name a few of her accomplishments in the field.  Cyndy’s commitment to media literacy has had an enduring impact, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements and contributions to the field.
