Women's Mentoring Network Hosts: Type, EQ, and You!

The Women's Mentoring Network (WMN) is open to faculty and staff at Ithaca College and was established in the fall of 2018 with the purpose of “enabling women to connect in meaningful ways to support their goals”.

This session explores the connections between personality and emotional intelligence (EQ), and provides specific actions for EQ development for various personality types. The goal is to celebrate your strengths and enhance your potential to regulate impulses, empathize with others, be resilient in the face of obstacles, and more! We will do some self-reflection, discuss individual differences, and set type-based goals for developing stronger relationships and greater performance at work. Participants should have at least a basic understanding of MBTI and know their preferences, or need minimal guidance to remember their type.
