By Doreen Hettich-Atkins, October 30, 2024

You don't have to wait until November 5 to cast your ballot!

Please note that voters in New York State have 9 days prior to the General Elections to vote.  Other states also have early voting, please check with your state board of election for details.

Voters should check with their NY State County board of election to learn more about their local early voting locations and the times that those locations are open.

Anyone who is registered to vote in Tompkins County using any Tompkins County address is eligible to vote early.

Voters who participate in early voting will NOT be able to vote on Election Day.

Tompkins County locations are: Town of Ithaca Town Hall, 2015 N.T ioga Street; and Crash Fire Rescue (CFR) Building at 72 Brown Road (by the Tompkins County Airport).

Both locations are open as noted below:

  • Saturday, October 26 through and including Sunday, November 3. Both locations are open from 9am to 5pm on all days.
  • Tuesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 31 both locations will remain open until 8:00 pm.
