We encourage all voters to become as informed as possible about the candidates on the ballot in your area.
We recognize that students and faculty and staff may be registered at permanent addresses that are not in Tompkins County. We encourage those for whom that is the case to look up information about candidate platforms and debates as appropriate for your local area.
To assist those of you registered in Tompkins County, we are posting videos of debates that have taken place recently or are scheduled soon for candidates on the ballot in the Ithaca area.
New York US Senate – for US Senate
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D) and Mike Sapraicone (R) will participate in their only debate on Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 pm at the University of Albany.
