Join us in honoring loved ones at our Día de los Muertos altar and ofrenda, set up in Room 347 of the BIPOC Unity Center from October 30 to November 11.
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration rooted in Mexican culture where families gather to remember and honor those who have passed. Traditionally celebrated on November 2, different regions and families observe it on various dates. By keeping the altar up longer, we aim to make this space a meaningful site of remembrance.
We invite you to add photos and messages for anyone you wish to commemorate, whether they be relatives, friends, or pets. The altar has been thoughtfully arranged by El Alma Mexicana. If you would like to contribute, please use this link to send us a name, photo, and message for your loved one.
