2024 IC NEW PLAY INCUBATOR

You are all invited to the:

2024 IC New Play Incubator (NPI)

Saturday, November 16, at 3 pm

in the Hockett Family Recital Hall (Whalen Center for Music)

The eight finalist 10-minute plays written by our School of Music, Theatre, and Dance students and alumni will be presented as rehearsed staged readings directed, performed, and stage managed by current students, with dramaturgy provided by their peers.

The presentations will be followed by a 15-minute panel with the playwrights, moderated by the dramaturgs; a short inspirational speech by our Distinguished Playwright Judge James Scruggs; the Awards Ceremony (Golden Egg Awards and Silver Egg Award); and a reception in the McHenry Lobby of the Whalen Center.

The Golden Egg and Silver Egg trophies were created & built by TPD student Halayna Ogozalek.
