Ithaca College students took home top prizes for their short documentary productions at the Cayuga Film Festival this year in Auburn, NY. Documentary Studies and Production Senior Desoni Cooper’s film My Life is Circus won for the top prize in the College Documentary category. Three other films by Ithaca College students First Name Basis, Last Days of Derby and Hanandagá:nyahs: Town-Destroyer were all given Awards of Distinction in the College Documentary category.
First Name Basis was made by Dona Qin, Conrad West, Ye Hang Yeo and Kennedy Laylon; Last Days of Derby was made by Maya Rosenthal; and Hanandagá:nyahs: Town-Destroyer was made by Rory Cassidy, Chelsea Coichy, Leila Marcillo-Gomez, and Jack Punda.
