Dept. of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology is sad to announce departure of Liz Miller

  • Liz Miller , Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinic Director of the Ewing Speech and Hearing Clinic , will be departing the college at the end of the fall semester. From her involvement in HSHP interprofessional initiatives, to her outstanding clinical and classroom teaching, to her willingness to step up to fill the clinic director role upon the retirement of Mary Pitti, Liz’s contributions to IC have been outstanding and impactful. Her vision to explore new opportunities for telepractice and simulation-based clinical placements led to groundbreaking firsts for clinical education at IC, via contracts with Invivo and Simucase to provide novel and high-quality clinical experiences for our students. Her interest in interprofessional training has led to her involvement in interdisciplinary scholarly projects resulting in national presentations with colleagues and a manuscript submitted for publication. Please join us in wishing Liz well as we thank her for her many valuable contributions!
