It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Christine Haase, a beloved member of the School of Humanities and Sciences. Chris will be retiring at the end of this semester, with her last day being January 6th.
For over 34 years, Chris has been a vital member of the IC community, navigating numerous transformations and challenges, including three department relocations and a pandemic. She began her tenure at the College in General Services and the Mail Center. Her dedication and resilience have been truly remarkable.
Chris has been an invaluable Administrative Assistant for the Department of Philosophy & Religion, the Jewish Studies program, and the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, and her contributions to numerous other programs have been deeply appreciated. Chris also served on Staff Council for several three year terms throughout her career.
