COMPUTER ACCOUNTS

ID EXPRESS

ID Express is a debit account accessed via a student’s ID card. Deposits to ID Express can be made by mail, online, or in person. ID Express can be used for purchases at a variety of locations on and off campus:

  • All dining halls and retails food outlets on campus
  • Mac’s General Store and the campus store
  • Mail services
  • Hammond Health Center
  • Stadium concessions
  • Center for Print Production
  • Parking Services
  • Vending machines and copiers

REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE RENTALS

Students often find it convenient to rent a refrigerator or micro-fridge from the Refrigerator Leasing Company, which serves Ithaca College. We recommend checking out IC's Refrigerator and Microwave policy prior to making any purchases, as it has recently changed. Click here to learn more.

TRANSPORTATION

Airports

Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport is approximately 10 minutes’ drive from campus (seven miles). American Airlines, United, and Delta Airlines provide direct or connecting flights throughout the United States. See flyithaca.com

Syracuse Hancock International Airport is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes’ drive (65 miles) from Ithaca College and is served by seven airlines. See syrairport.org.

Buses

Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) serves Ithaca College on the hour and the half hour. Buses stop near the entrance to campus, West Tower, and at the Park School of Communications and have connecting routes throughout the city as well as to Cornell University, the Greyhound bus terminal, Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, the Shops at Ithaca mall, and the airport. OurBus offers bus service between Ithaca and New Jersey/New York City/Queens/Long Island and other major cities. See ourbus.com.

Greyhound offers daily bus service to New York City and many major cities in the Northeast. See greyhound.com.

ShortLine’s Ithaca Platinum Express has nine daily schedules to New York City and four daily to Westchester, Long island, Queens, and the Hudson Valley for $50 one way. See coachusa.com/shortline.

Campus-to-Campus (C2C) express bus service provides transportation between Cornell University’s New York City and Ithaca campuses. C2C operates seven days a week, years round. See c2cbus.com.

Ride Sharing

Ithaca Carshare is a community membership service offering 24/7 access to fuel-efficient cars, a minivan, and a pickup truck. See ithacacarshare.org

Train

Syracuse (approximately 60 miles away) is the city nearest Ithaca that offers train service. See amtrak.com.
