On Saturday, November 11, the Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland football teams will clash for the 64th time. For the first time since 2017, the battle will take place on campus, at Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium.
All Ithaca College students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to obtain tickets free of charge (while supplies last). Ticket distribution for the 2023 Cortaca Jug game will be held on Monday, October 30, through Wednesday, November 1, at the Athletics and Events Center’s Outdoor Ticket Window (adjacent to Higgins Stadium). Tickets will be available during the following times:
- Monday, October 30: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 31: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 1: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last and these dates are the only times you will be able to secure tickets to the game. There will not be any tickets sold at the game.
All individuals must be prepared to display their Ithaca College ID in order to secure tickets. There is a limit of one ticket issued per student ID, and students may bring one additional ID of a friend or classmate to procure a maximum of two tickets. Faculty and staff can receive a maximum of two tickets per ID, and may bring up to two additional IDs of colleagues for a maximum of six tickets.
Head Football Coach Michael Toerper is excited for the Bomber faithful to support the team on its newly-christened field.
“In 2017, I experienced just how special a Cortaca Jug Game at Butterfield Stadium is,” he said. “The support of the entire campus that day was electric, and our players fed off that energy. Our program is thrilled for Cortaca’s long-awaited return to South Hill, and we are incredibly grateful for all the support and excitement the community has already shown for this year’s game.”
An allotment of tickets has also been reserved for alumni and alumni can purchase tickets here.
