Ithaca College will host a virtual town hall for members of the local community, at which college representatives will share specific plans for IC’s return to on-campus student instruction and residency for the spring 2021 semester.
The meeting will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19. Those interested in attending can register to receive a link for the Zoom session. Participants can submit a question in advance or during the meeting. An ASL interpreter and closed captioning will be available.
On October 27, Ithaca College officially announced its intention to resume the on-campus experience for all students during the spring 2021 semester. This return to South Hill by IC students and employees will be guided by the New York State Return to Campus Plan, which was implemented on a smaller scale as the college continued with remote instruction for the fall.
The town hall will focus on the following topics:
- Spring Student Move-In
- COVID-19 Screening and Testing Protocols
- Community Agreement and Accountability
- Procedures to Report Community Agreement Violations
- Academic Calendar
- Update on Intercollegiate Athletics Competition
Guiding the discussion will be representatives from the college’s student affairs, public health, and public safety programs.
