As her time at Ithaca College nears its conclusion, Patrice Pastore , a Professor of Music Performance , presents a recital that reflects on her personal and professional journey. This will be her first recital since before the pandemic, and she hopes to share this moment while many of her students are still at the college. The program explores a wide range of emotions—love, betrayal, loss, recovery, and hope. It follows an arc that begins in innocence, travels through life's challenges, and ultimately ends with hope for the future. The performance features poems written by Pastore herself, alongside songs that hold personal significance, expressing the emotional journey she has experienced. In addition to the music, the recital will begin with a stand-up monologue and include the appearance of two of Pastore's alter egos, adding a touch of humor and entertainment to the evening.
