PCIM invites you to a talk by Graeme Joffe, a veteran sports journalist on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. in Textor 103. Joffe will talk about sports journalism and the hazards of independent reporting in South Africa.
Graeme is well known for his exposes of unethical behavior displayed by government and sporting officials in South Africa. His investigative work led to defamation cases, blacklisting by the government and persecution. Joffe started his own weekly sports newsletter that grew into a digital sports publication. He is currently based in the U.S. and continues his work despite all odds.
