The 7th Annual New Voices Festival, a celebration of emerging writers, is taking place Wed., April 17th to Fri., April 19th.

We have seven diverse and vibrant writers on the roster this year: poets Tommy Pico and Javier Zamora, fiction writers Aja Gabel and Rumaan Alam, creative nonfiction writers Sarah Viren (also a translator) and Emma Kemp (also an Image Text Ithaca fellow and author), and playwright Clare Barron, whose Dance Nation will wrap up the festival at the Cherry Artspace. As always, the festival kicks off with The Short Short at Buffalo Street Books--great for catching all the writers at once.
