Residence halls close at noon on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Students with travel plans which require them to leave later than the published closing date, please submit the Late Departure Request Form. Approval is not guaranteed. No one can stay beyond 10am on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Students who fail to leave as required will be assessed a $100.00 unauthorized presence fee.
Circle and Garden Apartment students who are living in the same apartment for the fall and spring semesters and need to stay beyond December 18th, please complete the Winter Break Registration Form. For academic year 2024-25, Eastman Hall, Tallcott Hall and Terrace 6 are the designated break housing buildings and will remain open over the winter break. Students in these buildings who are living in the same room for the fall and spring semester and need to stay beyond December 18th, please complete the Winter Break Registration Form.
Limited services are available during break housing periods. There will be a limited number of Residential Life staff present on campus to address lock-outs and other support requests. Refer to the duty schedule on the entrance doors of each building for information about the Resident Assistant (RA) or Apartment Assistant (AA) covering your area of campus. The Office of Public Safety will remain open for emergencies. Dining Services may be closed or have limited hours over breaks. Please refer to the Dining Services website for more information. Many other services may also be reduced or unavailable including Mail Services, Fitness Center, campus offices and other student support services.
