Ithaca College defines Intellectual Wellness as developing a growth mindset about harnessing our creative abilities and expanding our knowledge, skills, and philosophy of lifelong learning for personal betterment. Through participation in scholarly, cultural, personal, and community activities we open our minds to new ideas.

Continuing Education and Extramural Education: Provides non-traditional learning opportunities for further education for non-degree students. Facilitates continuing education and professional development
International Programs & Extended Studies: Ithaca College students study on semester-long and short-term study abroad programs with the goal of providing students with quality international experiences. Study abroad has been shown to effectively foster global citizenship as well as other valuable intercultural competencies that students can use both personally and professionally throughout the course of their lifetimes.
LinkedIn Learning: Unlimited 24/7 access to an extensive, high quality, online training library that includes thousands of courses, covering a wide range of topics from Accounting to Web Development. With courses for all skill levels, practice environments, exercise files, and on-the-go learning from your laptop, tablet, and mobile device, LinkedIn Learning provides something for everyone
Prevention Education Network (PEN): Educate IC members regarding issues of sexual violence through awareness and prevention.
Student Leadership Institute: The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is a series of interactive workshops designed to help students develop and refine personal leadership skills. The SLI is open to all IC students, there is no cost to participate, and you may choose to take part in a series of sessions and earn a certificate - or attend any individual session YOU would like! Register for SLI workshops anytime on IC Engage.
Whalen Symposium: An annual Ithaca College tradition which allows students to present their research and other creative works in a professional setting. Whalen offers students the opportunity to collaborate on research with their professors and one another, as well as giving them a conference-like atmosphere to present their work to their peers on campus.

IC Library: Services and resources for students and faculty success. Provides research assistance and instruction Management and organization of various resources for all campus programs
Math Help Room: The mathematics program is committed to the success of all students enrolled in mathematics courses. Free tutoring is available during the daytime hours Monday-Friday in the Mathematics Support Center (Williams 209) by mathematics faculty and most 100 level courses have a dedicated TA with evening help hours.
Student Accessibility Services: Student Accessibility Services works to facilitate access for students with disabilities at Ithaca College. Through the interactive process, SAS works in partnership with IC students, faculty and staff to develop and implement accommodation plans.
Tutoring and Coaching Services in the Center for Student Success: Connects students with a variety of academic support services, including tutoring, learning coaches, academic skill building, and more.
Writing Center: Offers tutoring focused solely on writing and reading. Goal is to help students from all disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences develop greater independence as writers and to foster advanced writers across the College—students, staff, and faculty alike.

Educational Technology Center: The Educational Technology Center, located on the first floor of Job and Friends Hall, offers a host of creative technology and services to assist you in the exploration, learning, and making of creative design. Spaces available include a Makerspace, Digital Story Lab, and IC 3D Room.

Center for Faculty Excellence (faculty resource): The CFE promotes equitable organizational change, develops inclusive teaching pedagogy, presents resources that support faculty roles as educators and scholars, offers mentorship and support, and provides award and grant opportunities for Ithaca College faculty.
CFE Lecture Series (faculty resource): A series of short lecture presentations that celebrate the intellectual and creative accomplishments of our colleagues. Presenters, nominated and selected by their peers, share innovations in teaching and scholarly/creative inquiry during the pandemic.

Staff Development Funding (staff resource): Human Resources has funding available for staff members to provide professional development that will enhance their intellectual wellness.
