Amnesty International at Ithaca College is hosting its first general body meeting of the semester! Come discuss important human rights issues and learn how you can get involved in our campaign's and events this semester! We will also be sharing more information about upcoming collaborative event with the library for Banned Books Week!!

IAU France - Affiliated Study Abroad Program info session

IAU offers semester, summer and January-term study abroad programs in the historic Provençal city of Aix-en-Provence, France. Located along the Mediterranean Sea, IAU allows students to experience the culture of the south of France. IAU will be on campus for the September 26 Study Abroad Fair, and will offer an info session the night of the fair for students who want additional information about their programs.

Project Embolden: Interest Meeting

Project Embolden is an initiative created by the senior class of BOLD Women’s Leadership Scholars. This campus transformation project is a mentorship program in collaboration with New Roots Charter School, specifically working with 11th and 12th graders.

Project Embolden intends on building mentor and mentee connections between youth in high school and young adults in college, specifically as it relates to exploring post- high school ventures. We aim to contribute to social change, service and inclusivity through youth mentorship.

We'll go over how to best plan for study abroad, how to find a program and apply, the different types of programs available to Ithaca College students, and what study abroad means in terms of credit transfer, financial aid, and progress toward graduation. All Ithaca College students CAN study abroad - this meeting is the first step in figuring out how to make it work for you.

Around the World in 60 Minutes: Study Abroad Panel and Ice Cream Social

Want to study abroad? Like ice cream? Then this is the event for you! Come enjoy unlimited make-your-own sundaes while listening to study abroad ambassadors talk about their experiences abroad. There will be a panel of IC students who studied on all different types of programs in countries across the globe, and plenty of time for questions.
