Exploratory Program Session on Integrative Learning

The Ithaca College Exploratory Program is holding an informational session for incoming exploratory students on Integrative Learning at IC. This hour-long session will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 5:00 p.m. (EST). The session will include time for live Q&A with current Peer Leaders. If you would like to attend, please click this RSVP link by Tuesday, July 7th at 5:00 p.m. Links to the Zoom meeting will be sent only to those who RSVP for added security. The Zoom meeting link will not be sent to attendants until Wednesday, July 8th.

Summer Open Office Hours for Web Support

The IC Web Team will be holding remote open support hours every other Friday during the summer. Bring your questions about Drupal, Web Profile Manager (WPM), site migration, site architecture, content types, or any other web-related topic and the team will do their best to answer.

23rd Annual Whalen Academic Symposium

Some of Ithaca College’s brightest and most creative students will present their impressive research at the 23rd Annual James J. Whalen Academic Symposium on Thursday, April 9.

Undergraduate and graduate students will participate by giving oral presentations or displaying posters and other creative works.

For the keynote address, Dr. Sara Haefeli (Music Theory, History, and Composition), Associate Professor, and her students will present: “Are you a Bucket or an Ice Cube?” The keynote is scheduled for 11:10 AM in Emerson C.

In this session we will cover analysis of both the higher education business trends and strategic technologies and show that they reflect a broader set of themes or meta-trends affecting higher education today. Identifying and understanding the themes across the broader ecosystem enables CIOs to see the forces of change and the opportunities currently impacting higher education.
