Sustainability Fashion Panel

Join the Office of Energy Management and Sustainability for a panel about sustainable fashion in Ithaca and Tompkins County. Panelists include Margaret Frey, Professor of Fiber Science and Apparel Design at Cornell; Hudson, Owner of downtown vintage store, Evergreen; and Lilian Griselda Pagoada, Local Environmental Fashion Activist. Pizza is provided but bring your own cup for refreshments!

Sustainability Keynote Speaker Ken Ilgunas

Ken Ilgunas is an author, journalist, and backcountry ranger in Alaska. He has hitchhiked ten thousand miles across North America, paddled one thousand miles across Ontario in a birchbark canoe, and walked 1,700 miles across the Great Plains, following the proposed route of the Keystone XL pipeline. He’s written for the New York Times, Time, Backpacker, Smithsonian Magazine, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. His adventures and books have been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The New Yorker, National Geographic, and NPR. He has a B.A.

DKA + LGBTQ Center Film Screening: Disclosure

Join DKA, Ithaca College's Professional Cinematic Society, and the LGBTQ Center for a screening of the 2020 documentary Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen on Saturday, April 13, 7pm in the Park Auditorium. This event will include a pre-screening presentation and post-screening discussion. Produced by and about trans individuals, this film sheds light on Hollywood's depiction of trans people and how these representations impact trans individuals' lived experiences and broader cultural understandings about gender.
