Free Listening with Active Minds At IC!

Outside the Pub on the Tables!
Need to vent? Feel like you don't have others to talk to about a topic? Feeling stressed? Active Minds at Ithaca College will be hosting Free Listening sessions today from 4-5 pm outside The Pub on the tables. Look for our cardboard sign that says "Free Listening"! We are there to provide a listening ear and be non-judgmental. A sticker will be offered to those who talk to us.

Know Your Booze: Alcohol Safety (Leading Self)

This workshop features a series of activities and conversation prompts to encourage student discussions surrounding safer alcohol use, effects of alcohol, and taking action during an alcohol-related emergency. Self-Care Planting with Nature RX

Join IC Nature RX to learn more about the wellness benefits of engaging with nature while potting plants that will be utilized for the Plants for Pills event. Planting can be a great way to connect with nature and to practice self-care. All student participants that help to plant at least 5 plants will be able to take a plant with them! During these meetings we will work together on planning different student-led, peer to peer outreach focused on topics such as traffic safety, substance abuse prevention, and personal health and wellness decision making. Meetings are open, and we encourage individuals that are interested in joining our organization to join us!

Camping at Potomac Campground!

Howdy yall! Come camp with us deep in the finger lakes national forest. Whether you’ve lived outside your entire life or this is your first time camping, come sit by the fire and share some marshmallows. There is no experience required for this trip. We will be leaving from CC at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 27th and returning Sunday morning at 9:00am. More information will follow for those who sign up. Space is limited to 10 participants so grab your spot now!
