The Park Center for Independent Media sponsors a summer internship program aimed at giving justice-oriented students the opportunity to work at some of the best independent/progressive media institutions and advocacy nonprofits in the nation. Participating students are awarded financial stipends (of up to $3,000). These stipends are competitive. Students must submit an application to be considered.
The Park Center for Independent Media (PCIM) in the Roy H. Park School of Communications focuses on journalism and documentary beyond the mainstream with a focus on equity, social justice, and sustainability.
Each summer, PCIM offers stipends to support internships with independent media outlets across the United States on a competitive basis.
