One group of students covered the August 24th commemorative events for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. A second group covered the August 28th commemorative events for PBS Newshour Online.

August 28th, 2013 was the actual 50th Anniversary of The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. I attended the commemoration along with five students from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. The crowd was estimated at 25,000. Our job was to capture the day from their perspective(s).
