The OT/PT Clinic serves as an integral hands-on component of the curriculum for occupational therapy and physical therapy students. In the Clinic, you are exposed to clinical experiences with guidance from faculty and patient demonstrations of many of the clinically-oriented courses. Clinical in-services are typically provided in an interdisciplinary manner. The Clinic also offers an environment for you to conduct clinical research.
Student Experiences
Physical Therapy
Practicing your physical therapy skills under the guidance of faculty in the OT/PT clinic, you experience the "power of touch" and the importance of relationships as the clinical learning from the classroom is applied to patients.
Occupational Therapy
Help restore confidence in clients and their families for day-to-day occupations like getting dressed, playing, self-care, and functioning at school as an occupational therapy student actively engaging with participants in the OT/PT clinic.
