Transfer Opportunities

The occupational therapy program accepts qualified current Ithaca College students as internal transfers into the combined BS/MS or BS/OTD program. This is subject to space availability in the desired cohort. Current Ithaca College students may transfer into the occupational therapy program in any semester up to the fall of the junior year in the program. Please note that changing majors may require you to take additional coursework and spend additional semester(s) on campus to be on track in our program. 

To be considered, internal candidates need to meet with a faculty member in the occupational therapy department. Please email ot@ithaca.edu to learn more about the process.

Students should review the curriculum requirements of the BS degree with a faculty member in the occupational therapy department. This will help determine which of their current courses will fulfill requirements and identify outstanding requirements.

Please note that some courses may have prerequisites or other requirements (e.g. math placement score).
