Raul Palma, an assistant creative writing professor and secretary of the Faculty Council Executive Committee, has had his debut novel, A Haunting in Hialeah Gardens, acquired by Dutton, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
His genre-bending novel, which has a tentative publishing date of 2023, is about a Santería priest that must provide a spiritual cleansing of his debt collector’s home while confronting his own demons. Read more about his novel here.
