The Center for Music hosts a full schedule of ensemble concerts, student recitals, guest artist series, and more, all free and open to the public, as always.

Ford Hall

Our main 644-seat concert hall with organ.

Hockett Family Recital Hall

Our 251-seat recital hall is where many students and guests artists hold their recitals.

Instrument Repair Shop

The Center for Music has an instrument repair shop on the first floor.

Library of Ensemble Music

The Library of Ensemble Music (LEM) holds and distributes music for all Center for Music major ensembles and chamber ensembles.

Borg Warner Control Room

The Borg Warner Control Room features a new 48 channel Solid State Logic DUALITY Hybrid Analog Mixing console / Digital Audio Workstation controller, a Studer A-827 2" 24-Track Tape Machine, andBarefoot Sound MicroMain 27 monitors.

John Kinyon Resource Room

This resource room contains one of the country’s most complete educational collections of method books.

Wickstrom Music Education Center

The center is comprised of several working and teaching areas that were carefully designed to meet the specific needs of music education students and faculty.

Rehearsal Spaces

: 101-seat capacity band and choral rehearsal room.
: 191-seat capacity band and choral rehearsal room.
: 110-seat capacity band and choral rehearsal room outfitted with percussion equipment.
: 106-seat capacity band and choral rehearsal room that is also used as a recital space.
: The Center for Music has over 70 practice rooms and all are available to be used on first-come, first-served basis.
