Registering for Courses

The winter course schedule will be available on October 21, 2024. Winter course registration will begin on November 04, 2024. Please familiarize yourself with our winter session academic policies, which can differ from the fall/spring semester academic policies.

We welcome Ithaca College students, community members, alumni, and non-degree or extramural students to take winter courses with us. Winter session registration is on a space-available basis. To register:

  • Continuing Ithaca College students can register for winter session courses via HomerConnect. 
  • Any extramural student, including high school students, community members, or alumni, can register as non-degree students by completing an online registration request form. The deadline to submit your registration application is December 04, 2024, by noon. Due to recent changes in state licensing of online education, we cannot accept online extramural (non-matriculated) students residing in Massachusetts while the online course is in session.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Winter session charges are billed through Student Financial Services. Tuition for winter coursework is based on a per credit hour rate. The rate for winter session 2025 undergraduate courses is $625 per credit hour. Graduate tuition rates vary by program.

Financial aid does differ for winter session, so it is important to have a discussion with the Office of Student Financial Services.
