School and College Counselor Resources

Ithaca College welcomes counselors year round for personalized visits and tours of our campus and we also participate in two group tours that include other NY schools as well.

The Fingers Lakes (FLX) Counselor Tour
This two day tour occurs in November and allows school and college counselors the opportunity to visit Cornell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and Ithaca College. Counselors will connect with admission staff, faculty, and current students on each campus, and will enjoy a wine tasting and dinner in downtown Ithaca.
2023 Tour Dates: November 7-9

The Upstate New York Counselor (UNYT) Counselor Tour
This four-day tour that occurs in May allows school counselors the opportunity to tour six colleges and universities in New York State. Throughout the journey, counselors will gain invaluable insights into each institution's academic programs, campus life, and the resources available to support students in their educational pursuits. During the tour, counselors will have the chance to engage with admissions officers, faculty members, and current students, learning about each institution's distinct culture and educational philosophy. Universities include Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Rochester, Ithaca College, Syracuse University, Union College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
2024 Tour Dates: May 5-8
