Congratulations to our 2025 Student Marshals

At Ithaca College, the position of marshal for degree candidates is one of the highest honors bestowed on graduating seniors. These marshals are selected in February for the Commencement ceremony in May. The registrar prepares a list of eligible candidates based on the criteria below, and one student is selected by the dean of each school. Student marshals must be senior undergraduates who have earned at least 60 course credits at Ithaca College, maintain a current cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and are expected to graduate in May (or December for performance/music education majors). Selected students are, with a few exceptions, the undergraduates who have maintained the highest GPA in their respective schools.

School of Health Sciences and Human Performance - Ethan Gray

Ethan Gray

I am honored and grateful to be the 2025 Class Marshal of the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Although this is an individual honor, my journey at Ithaca College has been anything but individual. I would like to shine light on some of the extraordinary people that I have had the privilege of spending the past four years with: Sylvia Albro, Rachel Brunner, Seth Cohen, Kailee Leung, Preston Tompkins, Henry Wickliffe, Henry Suzuki, Kaiden Jones, and most of all Evan Lockwood. Without their support, time, and guidance, I would not be one of your class Marshals. They are a testament to the strength, intellect, and unity of Ithaca College. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
