We have officially entered the final stretch of the Spring 2025 semester and May 2025 Commencement festivities are only two months away. We are sharing this message to call your attention to some upcoming critical deadlines to be aware of to ensure you are able to participate in this amazing celebration.
Important Reminders Regarding Upcoming Deadlines for Commencement Tasks
Deadline to Order Your Cap & Gown is Friday, March 28. Deadline to Create Your Account in Tassel and RSVP to Attend Commencement is Tuesday, April 15.
Friday, March 28: Deadline to Order Your Academic Regalia
In order to participate at either the Commencement and Graduate Hooding ceremony or the main May Commencement ceremony, you are required to wear academic regalia (cap and gown; hood for applicable graduate programs). Please complete and submit an Academic Regalia Order Form by Friday, March 28 , in order to ensure your order arrives prior to graduation.
Tuesday, April 15: Deadline to Create Account in Tassel Platform/RSVP for Commencement
All students eligible to participate in May 2025 Commencement ceremonies received an email on February 12 with a personalized link and instructions on how to create their account in Tassel, our graduation platform. Tassel is the system in which graduates will complete several required steps, including: RSVP to attend Commencement, order guest tickets, submit pronunciation of your name, and more!
The deadline to create your account and RSVP your intention to participate at either the Commencement and Graduate Hooding ceremony or May 2025 Commencement is Tuesday, April 15 .
Missing either of these important deadlines may jeopardize your ability to participate in Commencement.
Get Support at Our Grad n’ Go Pop-Up Sessions
If you have Commencement related questions or would like some additional support completing required items on your Commencement checklist, consider stopping by one of our Grad n’ Go Pop-Ups. We will have a Grad n’ Go table setup in the Campus Center to offer drop-in support on the following dates:
- Tuesday, March 25: Campus Center Lobby
- Thursday, March 27: Campus Center Lobby
- Tuesday, April 1: Campus Center Lobby
- Thursday, April 3: Campus Center North Foyer (Adjacent to Emerson Suites)
