Caitlin M. Walton is a junior this year at Ithaca College. Her major is Vocal Music Education with a minor in Theater. She comes all the way from Davenport, IA to learn and study with the best of the best. Caitlin loves teaching, but is no stranger to performing either. She has played various roles in different musicals back in her home town including Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Mayzie LaBird in Seussical the Musical, Marmee March in Little Women, and many others. Her 17 years of dance training have also helped her gain many lead dance roles in shows such as The Wizard of OzThoroughly Modern Millie, and Singin’ in the Rain. The past two summers gave her the opportunity to try her creativity backstage as the co-costume designer and make-up/hair designer for productions of Les Miserables and Shrek: the Musical at a local community theatre. Eventually, Caitlin would like to teach at the elementary level and later pursue a Master’s Degree in Music Therapy, working particularly with children.
