I am a board-certified internal medicine osteopathic physician, who graduated in 2017 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. I completed my internal medicine residency at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE, and am also a Cornell graduate (class of 2010) where I played NCAA Division I varsity softball for four years. I have been involved in medical education since medical school where I participated in a pre-doctoral teaching fellowship. When my husband and I decided to move back to Ithaca in the spring of 2023, I decided to pursue a position that had more of a focus on medical education which led me to the Ithaca College PA program.
My previous work experience includes working at a critical access hospital in rural southwest Virginia as well as working on the Navajo Nation in New Mexico as a nocturnist (night hospitalist).
My personal brand uses systems-level thinking and active listening to see those who feel invisible, listen to those who feel unheard, and empower those who feel powerless.
