Graphic Novel Advisory Board

The Graphic Novel Advisory Board is a community-service group that operates through the 2-credit course "ENGL 29700 Professional Development." Students gain experience in a variety of ways:

  1. Writing reviews of current graphic novels for a newsletter "The GNAB Review" that is sent out three times a semester to librarians across the country.
  2. Putting on literacy and creativity promoting programs for children in rural libraries.
  3. Giving informational presentations about graphic novels promoting diversity and accessibility in local and regional venues.
