The goal of the Gerontology Internship is to give students hands-on experience in an aging-related setting. In the internship, students not only learn about a particular organization but gain knowledge and experience that can help with figuring out what to do after graduation. Past students have interned at a variety of organizations, including the Veteran's Administration, Longview, assisted living facilities, area agencies on aging, nursing homes, and senior centers.
