Megan received her Ph.D. from Dartmouth College in 2015 and joined Ithaca College that same year. Her research focuses on a branch of enumerative combinatorics that investigates permutation patterns. Permutation patterns have applications in a wide array of fields including computer science and biology. She also explores the connections between mathematics and different fiber arts including crochet and embroidery.
When not "mathing," Megan plays flute in the Ithaca Community Orchestra, engages in many different fiber arts, and hikes the gorges of Ithaca.
