Showcasing and Supporting Student Academic Success
The Whalen Symposium offers students the opportunity to collaborate on research and creative works with their professors and with one another and provides a conference-like setting in which to present their work.
Held in April each year, the Whalen Symposium provides a rich sample of the wide range of student research and creativity. Enormous personal growth comes from working closely with a mentor to define and refine a research topic, gather information and evidence, and then write and present findings!
