Join us for this year's virtual ICUnity Summer Celebration!
Our annual ICUnity summer events provide the perfect opportunity to meet current and incoming students, alumni, and families. ICUnity connects Ithaca College's underrepresented groups, including but not limited to students, alumni, families, and other campus community partners who have been historically underserved due to identity, orientation, ethnicity, disability, national origin, or religion, or who are the first generation of their families to attend college. ICUnity provides a network of dedicated academic and business professionals, opportunities for inclusive social interaction, and ways to improve intercultural communication between its members and allies.
Join us for this event filled with music, games, and great conversation!

Office Highlight: Office of Recreational Sports

The Office of Recreational Sports offers a variety of facilities and activities—including a Fitness Center (open more than 100 hours each week!); more than 40 sports clubs (competitive, performance, and recreational clubs); intramurals (approximately 20 leagues); and special events. All of the programs will comply with reopening guidelines issued by New York State. Email Sean Reilley at sreilley@ithaca.edu if you have any questions.
IC Tradition: Apple Harvest Festival

Each fall, IC students head downtown for Apple Fest, featuring bushels of apples and local produce, fresh baked goods, and entertainment at every turn—games, rides, prizes, and live performances. Apple Fest is a great introduction to the rich farm and artist community of Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region. You’ll love the variety of delicious food and entertainment!
Student Org Spotlight: Guiding Eyes for the Blind

Guiding Eyes for the Blind trains dogs to serve as companions to people who are blind and visually impaired. Its goals are to educate the IC community and the public about the work of Guiding Eyes for the Blind and its puppy-raising program, including (but not limited to) greeting puppies on campus appropriately, involving others as puppy sitters and raisers and org members, and sharing its presence in the community and on campus. Email geb.ithacacollege@gmail.com to get involved!
Get Engaged: A Space for Black Students at IC

Throughout July, IC will hold weekly Zoom gatherings to provide a space specifically for Black students to process, reflect, and be in community with one another, especially in response to the pandemics of COVID-19 and racism.
Support for LGBTQ+ Families

Ithaca College is here to support your LGBTQ+ family! The Center for IDEAS and LGBTQ+ Center would like to offer resources and virtual spaces for all LGBTQ+ families— especially the parents and caregivers of LQBTQ+ students. Through the organization Family Equality, virtual groups for LGBTQ+ parents, QPOC parents, trans or non-binary parents, and much more are available to connect and share experiences. Sign up for email alerts to be notified each time a new event is added to the calendar.
