Jessica Santiago is thrilled to be utilizing her talents and expertise to foster student success and help enrich the lives of students at Ithaca College. Jessica uses her extensive experience with global, cultural, demographic, and ability diversity to create an inclusive and equitable learning space.
Prior to working for the Center for Student Success, Jessica lived and worked in New York City as a horn player and educator. She has experience teaching in public and private schools, as well as one on one coaching settings. Known to go wherever the wind will take her, Jessica has performing credits across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Previously, she held the position of second horn with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra in Bosnia i Hercegovina.
Jessica's unique background has provided her an opportunity to develop skills in effective communication, adaptability, flexibility, perseverance, motivation and inspiration. As a member of the Student Success team, Jessica's current focus is supporting students in living their fullest, most authentic college lives. Her areas of expertise include emotional control, task management, and setting and meeting goals. Outside of work Jessica enjoys relaxing in the sunshine, being a "foodie" and experiencing life to the fullest.
