Originally from southern Vermont, I graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School and then attended Gettysburg College. During my time as an undergraduate at my alma mater, I was involved in a number of organizations including the Center for Public Service, the Student Alumni Association, and Delta Gamma; I was also a tour guide in the Admissions Office, where I found my passion for higher education after completing an internship in admissions.
In the Office of Admission, I serve as a resource for prospective students, their families, and school counselors throughout the admission process. I also provide leadership in coordinating the visit experience and lead Graduate Admission.
I have been a member of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling since 2012, and member of the executive board since 2013. This state affiliate of our national professional organization has afforded me the opportunity to connect with professionals from across the state around issues of student success, access to higher education, and advocacy. I was honored to receive the NYSACAC and NACAC Rising Star Award in 2014 in recognition of my dedication to serving the needs of students in the transition from high school to college.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, personal fitness, and exploring the local area with my husband and two children.
