Michael Johnson-Cramer was appointed dean of the School of Business in July 2022, after more than twenty-five years as a professor and leader in higher education. Most recently, he taught and served as dean at Bentley University. Prior to that, he was instrumental in founding the Freeman College of Management at Bucknell University. He believes the next generation of leaders will need a renewed sense of purpose and strong business skills in order to rebuild our communities post-pandemic. He is excited about the synergy between the business school and IC’s creative culture as the basis for realizing this vision. As a scholar, Michael has written extensively on the relationships between companies and their stakeholders. His current work explores the interactions of business and society, particularly as they shape urban landscapes.
