The Park School's social media can be found at @ICParkSchool on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Threads.
Here are some options for sharing your message:
- REQUEST a PARK BRANDED POST: Kudos & Awards
Collect and send copy and image(s) for a post that highlights the accomplishments of Park students, alumni, faculty, classes, projects from your department. These would be messages appropriate to be shared on behalf of the Park School and will be branded. Send your request to BOTH: mquinn7@ithaca.edu and parkpromo@ithaca.edu
- REQUEST a PARK-RELATED EVENT
Share an image and copy for an upcoming Park-related event. Events include faculty screenings/exhibits, lecture series, mini-course, trips, etc. These images will be posted as-is and not receive the Park branding. Send your request to BOTH: mquinn7@ithaca.edu and parkpromo@ithaca.edu
- TAG PARK FROM YOUR ACCOUNT
Do you already have a social media presence? Tag @ICParkSchool in your posts (from any platform). If you tag us from Instagram, we can add you to our Stories.
- ADD PARK as a COLLABORATOR ON A POST
You can add @ICParkSchool as a collaborator for posts on Instagram on any of the topics listed above and the post will appear on the Park account (after approval).
Graphics should be 1080 pixels x 1080 pixels. Images should not be text-heavy, use the caption space to share details.
Please note that we will strive to post as much as we can based on our capacity, concurrent campaigns, and relevance of the message.

Intercom is a college-wide bulletin-board system. Faculty and staff have the ability to create their own post on Intercom. The college collects posts into an email called "Intercom Roundup" that is delivered to the entire school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Your Intercom post can be used as a press release as it will have a unique URL that can be embedded into emails, posts, etc. You can use that link as a "click here to learn more" within a Park News blurb or anywhere else space is limited.

- Before creating an Intercom post, you must be logged into Drupal.
- Then you create your post here.
- The form will walk you through entering in your information.
- If you want to include an image, you will click "Add Image - Flow Text" to add the content block to your post.
- When you are ready to preview your work, click "Save" and make sure that the "Save as:" is set to "Draft."
- If it looks good, you can change "Draft" to "Scheduled" and it will be live!
- NEW! You can now choose when your post will be published to the Intercom email.
- The link will remain live so that you can continue to use the link to share stories via email.
- You can always find your post by using the Search function on the main Intercom page.

Park News is a text-only e-newsletter delivered on Sundays directly to all students, staff, and faculty at Park as well as folks on the Senior Leadership Team and MarComm.
Contents are Park-specific news, kudos, events, and opportunities. Text is short and direct and can include a hyperlink "click here to learn more" line in the text. (Please write out the entire URL, do not send linked text as that breaks the link). See sample Park News submission below!
The Park News submission deadline is noon on Thursday for that Sunday's issue. Please submit content to parknews@ithaca.edu
While the content is focused towards students, it is a quick and easy way for EVERYONE to keep up-to-date on the happenings of Park.

Images, animations, and videos can be shared via the Park lobby screens. Dimensions are 1920x1080. Send your file and run dates to mquinn7@ithaca.edu
For special events, we can schedule a "takeover" of all screens with your message, branding, and logo. For example, NYFSTA held their annual summit at Park and utilized the screens with their messages. Please schedule at least a month in advance. Takeovers subject to approval.
NEW! The big lobby screen can serve as a step-and-repeat for events, branding for big events, or a great place to show off student work. This screen is still a work-in-progress, please contact Mickie directly with requests.

Stories through the college take time to be assigned and developed. The Dean's Team can help push stories through, or decide to use them through our own channels.
