Rob serves as the Director of Analytics and Special Projects within the Applications and Infrastructure Team at the Information Technology and Analytics Division of Ithaca College.
A proud alumnus, Rob graduated from Ithaca College as a member of the centennial class with a degree in Music Education. He further expanded his expertise by earning an Executive MBA and completing postgraduate coursework in Statistics, Data Science, Finance, and Software Design and Architecture from SUNY Empire and the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Ithaca College, he had a robust career in large systems computing and financial technology development within the retirement industry.
In his current role, Rob is responsible for leveraging the college's data for both operational and strategic initiatives. As the architect of the college's data platform, he oversees a team responsible for data warehousing, analytics, Institutional Research, and data integrations. His team also collaborates on cross-departmental IT&A projects, contributing to student experience enhancement, process automation, and ERP system support.
Beyond his professional endeavors at Ithaca, Rob is actively involved in the arts community. He has been a member of several non-profit arts organizations, including the Ithaca ElectroZone, the Community Arts Partnership of Ithaca, and has played a key role in organizing the Northeast Electronic Music Festival (NEEMFest) in Homer, NY. Rob composes and performs regularly as an electronic musician in person and in online events.
