Sarah Pacelli is a graduate of Smith College, where she received a BA in English and history. She holds an MA in history from SUNY Albany, where she is presently a Ph.D. candidate in history. Currently, Sarah teaches courses in U.S. and world history at SUNY Albany and Siena College.
While not a music educator, Sarah has a long-standing love of music that began to develop when she started playing the violin in the third grade. It has only grown since then, and has led her to spend part of the past seventeen summers working on the Ithaca College campus. Following her work at the NYASTA String Institute from 2003-2010, Sarah is very pleased to be continuing her involvement with summer music programs at the Ithaca College Summer Music Academy. Currently, she serves as the SMA Assistant Director and Coordinator of Operations.
