Vision Statement

Ithaca College (IC) and the Office of Energy Management & Sustainability (OEMS) seeks to lead the integration of sustainability into operations, curriculum, research and engagement with the community. We do this to prepare IC students to be sustainability innovators in whatever their chosen field, and to equip the campus community with the tools to engage in meaningful sustainability-focused dialogue. We are committed to the responsible and sustainable management of natural, human, and financial resources, which includes placing social equity at the center of our work.

To help provide a glimpse of some of IC's core sustainability metrics, OEMS has developed this Sustainability Dashboard. While there are a series of metrics tracked by the college, this dashboard provides annual updates of 6 key categories - greenhouse gas emissions, LEED certified buildings, water use, solid waste, renewable energy and academics.
